David Owens
David Owens is the CEO and Founder of Owens Investment Advisors. He has over a decade in Award winning investment experience. Originally from Napa, he graduated from UC San Diego where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. While in college David was recruited by a consumer company, where he was promoted to GM/Executive Vice President for his hard work and due diligence.
In 2007, due to the pending sale of the business, he decided to pursue his passion of investment management and financial planning. David has worked with some of the best known investment firms, where he kept a peerless service record. He was an award winning advisor with Edward Jones and was the top planner of Metlife's Financial Planning Division. In 2018, David started Owen's Investment Advisors with the realization that his clients needed a truly independent Wealth Management Team.
David believes that investing in his community is just as powerful as his investments for his clients. He is an avid member of the Monarch Beach Rotary Club as well as a past president for them. He is a board member of the Kappa Phi chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha alumni advisory council. David also volunteers with the 5th Marine Regiment support group, among other charities. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, scuba, movies, watching football and just spending time with his daughter!
ALEX CLARK
Alex Clark is originally from Napa California and relocated to Orange County late 2015. Since moving to Southern California Alex has become an active member in the community, doing charity work with The Monarch Beach Rotary, The 5th Marine Regiment Support Group, and is a co-founder of Making Smiles, a project to provide dentures for seniors citizens in care facilities in Mexico. Alex has a dedication to not only helping his community grow and prosper; but, to help other communities as well.
Alex is a licensed admin who assists in the daily administrative tasks of the firm.
